Suzy Diaz is the director of corporate and foundation relations at Heritage University. She as over 20 years of experience in fields connected to health care, social services, and academia including philanthropy. She has worked in urban and rural settings as well as in the public and private sector.
Suzy earned an MBA with a concentration in health services management from Golden Gate University and a BS in psychology with minors in alcohol and drug studies including comparative American cultures from WSU-Pullman. Suzy enjoys participating in the advocacy of social determinants of health, trauma-informed practices, leadership and community-building networks.
She is a member of the Greater Columbia Accountable Communities of Health since 2015, the co-chair of the Teach For America-WA Regional Board, a board member of United Way of Central Washington, and volunteers for various events and organizations in the Yakima Valley.
