Suzy Diaz is the collective impact director at Heritage University-Yakima Valley Partners for Education. She has over 20 years of experience in fields connected to health care, social services, and academia including philanthropy. She has worked in urban and rural settings as well as in the public and private sector.
Suzy earned an MBA with a concentration in health services management from Golden Gate University and a BS in psychology with minors in alcohol and drug studies including comparative American cultures from WSU-Pullman. Suzy enjoys participating in the advocacy of social determinants of health, trauma-informed practices, leadership and community-building networks.
She is a member of the Greater Columbia Accountable Communities of Health since 2015 and she serves on the Washington Budget and Policy Center board.
