Martha Lanman, Administrator of Columbia County Public Health and Garfield County Health District represents the Public Health Sector on the Greater Columbia ACH Board. Martha has 15 years of experience in Public Health in Columbia, Garfield and Whitman counties. She brings expertise in grant management, governmental budgeting and a passion for Public Health to her communities every day. She manages yearly budgets totaling over 1 million dollars in Columbia County and Garfield County. Under the SE WA Health Partnership, which includes Columbia, Garfield and Asotin County, she has helped the communities receive a federal HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration) grant for network planning and to research Telehealth capabilities in the area. Martha has helped community organizations to fund programs that provide additional medical transportation, healthy foods, mental health services, and insurance navigators in each of the three counties. Dental funding through the SE WA Health Partnership has also provided dental education and outreach in Columbia, Garfield, and Asotin counties. Other grants include mental health services within the school environment. Martha was born and raised in Garfield County and participates actively in both communities, serving on multiple local boards. In her leisure time she enjoys playing golf and camping with her grandchildren.
