Kendra Palomarez, Healthcare Transformation Director at Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington, and has twenty years of experience in affordable housing, homelessness, and non-profit management. Kendra is a licensed clinical social worker earning her Master’s Degree from Salem State College in Massachusetts. Kendra possess a strong commitment and passion for working with underserved populations. Prior to Catholic Charities Kendra was in Portland for eight years. She worked at Cascade AIDS Project as their Director of Housing and Support Services overseeing a team of 30 hard-working individuals and a multi-million-dollar budget. Prior to that, she worked in Resident Services at the Housing Authority and helped start the Bud Clark Commons - a Permanent Supportive Housing building for 130 of Portland's most vulnerable homeless. Kendra also served as a board member for the Community Non-Profit Resource Group for five years. She originally hails from Massachusetts and spent nine years at HomeStart - an agency helping to end homelessness. She spent six of those years as their Director of Homelessness Prevention - growing the program from two to fourteen staff during my tenure.
