In 2019, the GCACH Workforce Committee developed a policy to provide resources to our Behavioral Health (BH) organizations to offset the costs of programs offering clinical experience and preceptors who would supervise interns pursuing a clinical career in behavioral health. GCACH received 22 responses through its application process, with requested funding totaling nearly $1.7 million.
Through a rigorous scoring process, GCACH funded the following 19 organizations, with allocated funding totaling $850,000:
Barth Clinic
Blue Mountain Counseling
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Yakima
Community Health of Central Washington
Comprehensive Healthcare
First Step Community Counseling Services
Lourdes Counseling Center
Lutheran Community Services
Merit
Palouse River Counseling
Rod's House
