ACES and Trauma-Informed Care with a Special Focus on Health Workforce Development Seminar

The WA State Allied Health Center of Excellence is pleased to invite you to attend a professional seminar addressing ACEs and Trauma-Informed Care with a Special Focus on Health Workforce Development on Monday, April 16 at Yakima Valley College. The training will include: culturally responsive trauma-informed systems of care delivery; the importance of trauma-informed staff training; strategies for care of the caregivers and self-care techniques; and applying concepts of culturally responsive approaches to trauma informed advocacy.

The one-day training will be conducted in two sessions. The instructional session will provide the theory and science of ACES research; the second will be a practical application session with focus on implementing organizational and self-care management strategies.
